Intro to the apache 4

Apache 4 available for Hire

The Apache 4 is built for jobs where safety is a concern and speed matters, making it perfect for specific, high-demand projects. That’s why, in addition to being available for purchase, it can also be hired. On your first hire, we’ll send an operator to walk you through how everything works. After that, you can run it yourself or have someone come out again to assist, whatever suits your needs. Hiring is a practical option, especially if you only need the equipment for certain projects and want to avoid long wait times for delivery.

See the Apache 4 for Yourself

At Tri-Site, we understand the importance of hands-on experience when investing in surveying equipment. Being able to try technology before committing, understanding the benefits and receiving guidance from industry professionals. We know that finding the most suitable equipment for your projects and being able to see all its features in real life are critical factors in making informed decisions. We’re also genuinely passionate about surveying and the tools that are moving the industry forward and want to bring our knowledge to others in our industry. This inspired us to host a full-day event dedicated to the latest advancements in surveying technology in partnership with CHCNAV. showcasing the Apache 4 alongside the RS10 Laser Scanner, GNSS Sensors and the X500 Drone.

Due to the success of our first Surveying Equipment Showcase Event, we’re coming to Leeds. The day will be hosted in the Harewood Suite at Harwood House in Leeds, running from 09:30 to 16:30The programme includes expert-led demonstrations and hands-on access to equipment. Features

Autonomous Navigation with Adaptive Water Flow Tracking

Thanks to a GNSS + IMU positioning system, the Apache 4 stays on course even in turbulent flow or when GPS signals are limited. This means highly accurate cross-sectional data, especially important for flood modelling and riverbed profiling.

Hover Technology for Pinpoint Measurements

At the start and end of ADCP observations, the vessel can hover steadily in place, reducing noise in flow estimations and increasing data reliability.

Integrated Single Beam Echo Sounder

With depth range capabilities from 0.15 to 200 meters and ±0.01 m accuracy, this unit provides detailed water depth profiles and can verify or complement ADCP tracking data.

Compact Yet Capable

Don’t let its size fool you: this vessel can carry up to 35 kg of payload, including ADCP sensors, multi-beam echo sounders, side scan sonar, and water quality monitors.

Battery Life Built for the Field

With up to 8 hours of endurance on a single charge and hot swappable batteries, teams can complete large surveys in one go -no mid-mission swaps or delays.

Smart Control, Real-Time Feedback

Using CHC’s dedicated Easysail app and Android control system, operators can plan missions, view live video of the area with built-in 360 camera, data feeds, and make real-time adjustments -all from shore.

Obstacle Avoidance and Safety First

With millimeter-wave obstacle detection, auto-return on low battery or lost signal, and a triple-hull carbon fiber design (IP67 rated), safety and reliability are built into every survey.
